SEO专家认为PR值没有太大参考价值了。现在用外部链接的质量来衡量。即在 dir.yahoo.com, DMOZ, EDU and GOV中有多少指向你的网站的外部链接。

外部链接质量：Inbound Link Quality ，简称ILQ。

每个Yahoo links (you get an average of 15 links per Yahoo Directory submission)得到1分；每个DMOZ link得到30分；每个EDU link 得到45分；每个GOV link 得到67分。

数量权重求和，所得即ILQ Rating。

以http:http://www.stanfordmaterials.com为例，测试结果是：Y! 7；DMOZ 1 ；edu 8；gov 1。于是7×1+1×30+8×45+1×67=464。其ILQ值即为464。
